Ok, I’m probably stretching here but I believe that Clint’s latest movie is one big “you damn kids get off my lawn” sign to remind everyone how much of a badass he is. Like we really needed to be reminded.

With today marking the close of another year in the world of webcomics, we all go back over the previous 12 months and see where it has taken us. The successes, the surprises (good and bad) and the growth of not only readership but artistic style.
As you can see by reviewing the archives, this year has been the second best year for PR in regards to updates (with 2005 showcasing the most content so far). That being said, the updates have been far more infrequent that I’d care for them to be. Unfortunately, real life issues have prevented me from dedicating more time to the comic but I’m glad I get to update it when I have a spare moment.
This next year will be a year of big changes for me. I’m moving to a new area, I plan on getting married and one of my favorite comics will finally be closing up shop on the internet which breaks my heart (look for a nice, hardcover collection coming soon to celebrate that strip btw). Much like when I started The Asylumantics, this is a time of a lot of life changing events which I have no doubt will ultimately affect my comics.
What do I want to see this year for Please Rewind? I want to see the strip break and easily maintain over 100 unique readers a day (yeah, that’s all we’re pulling folks). I want to see at least 2 books get released. I want to finally be able to release that goofy Halloween comic book I’ve been trying to get out the door since I started this silly strip
. But most importantly, I want to make a concerned effort to try and update the comic more often.
So those are my comic resolutions for the upcoming year. Got any that you’d like to share? Put them in the comments.
Happy New Year everyone!
As the year wraps up and I examine various projects, I need to know what you folks think about a few of my projects. Please take a moment and vote in our poll which you can find here. Thank you.
