A New Year And New Hopes

First off, a happy new year to everyone. I’m having a terrible time trying to remember to write ‘10 instead of ‘09 because it just seems so……weird. Welcome to the future I guess.

As I mentioned in an earlier post, this year I want to try and focus on the comic and update more often. I’ve done a lot of work to the website over the last few months to try and bring a level of ‘interactivity’ to the website to give people more to do than just read and run.

You can, of course, read the strip but you can also leave comments for each and every strip in the archive. You DO NOT have to register to do so but you do have to have an email address. It can be a junk box if you wish, I don’t use it to email anything out but just to make sure you’re human. If you see something that tickles your funny bone, leave a comment and maybe spark a conversation.

You can also rate all the strips in the archive. This is done with a 1-10 star scale below each comic. The top strips are listed on the “Reader Favorites” page so you can see what folks like you think are the “best of the collection”. You do not have to register or even have an email address to rate a strip.

This year, one of my goals is to release at least two collection books. I’m already halfway to that goal this month as I’m pulling together and finally getting ready to send “At The Movies” to the printers. I’ll make an announcement once that book is available for sale. If you can’t buy a book or just prefer not to, you can still help out by making any sized monetary donation you can with the donation link at the bottom of the website.

Finally, be sure to keep an eye on the DOWNLOADS page for new desktop images. They’re 100% free and ready to be downloaded for your pleasure.

A comic is only as successful as the partnership between the artist who draws it and the people who read it. We need as many eyeballs as possible reading to make things obtainable for all of us. If you do your best to bring in friends to read, I promise I’ll work extra hard to update and make it worth their while.

Thanks again for your years of support. Here’s to a better 2010!
